a calendar poster
A few months ago I got around to putting together and printing our 2013 calendar. We actually use an oversized wall calendar from Paper Source to keep track of family happenings, but I loved this calendar from Paislee Press so much that I added it to the mix.
I picked fifteen recent photos, edited them in Photoshop and added them to the layered template.
It's 20 inches x 30 inches. We had it printed and mounted on foam board.
The calendar rests on a photo ledge from Ikea and leans against a little wall in the hallway that leads to our garage door, the powder room and the laundry room. It's a high-traffic spot in the house, which means I walk past it about a hundred times a day. You can also see the calendar right when you walk in the front door, which has made it a really cool conversation piece.
This little design project took about an hour to complete. I can't believe I waited so long to do it!
Persnickety Prints and Costco both do 20 x 30 enlargements. You can download the calendar kit HERE. The kit comes with the 20 x 30 file I used plus a 5 x 7 mini calendar and a 16 x 20 poster size. Happy designing!
