holiday prep | thank you note jar
I just did the tally, and in the last few months, I've written 117 thank you notes. Wowza. Lots and lots of baby gifts! Given that astronomical number I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. With the holidays rapidly approaching, I took five minutes today and gathered in one place the items necessary to write thank you notes. I figure we're much more apt to write our thank you notes in a timely manner if all of the materials are in a central location. And let's be honest: thank yous are likely to be more thoughtful if we don't let them pile up. I repurposed a footed glass jar from Williams-Sonoma we received as a gift a few years ago and added some GREEN|FINGERPRINT stationery, a couple of my favorite pens and a few sheets of stamps.
I stocked my thank you note jar with some of our letterpress thank you notes and our "Desk Set" personal stationery (the navy and green cards - one of my fave designs!).
I think the kelly green in these letterpress "Elizabeth" cards will be perfect for the holidays. You can find them in our Etsy shop HERE.
I'm loving these Go Green "forever" stamps I bought at the post office.
The thank you note jar is stationed in our family room, where we spend the most time. Here's to expressing loads of gratitude this season!
