Refined photo books, elevated albums, modern heirlooms
hello weekend
I've been so inspired this year by Ali Edwards to document our "everyday" life through photos. This week certainly wasn't indicative of our normal routine, as we got home Wednesday night from a (very rare) family vacation to the Eastern Sierras. We had a blast, but a few things have piled up around the house, so I'm looking forward to a fun and productive weekend. Here's what I'll be up to, as told through a few snapshots...
Spending some time editing and organizing our photos from the family vacay. One of my faves from the initial photo download is this shot of Nick and baby Ben hiking out at Convict Lake, just south of Mammoth.
Speaking of things piling up, this one should be pretty self-explanatory.
I hope to do a little cooking this weekend. I might revisit one of my favorite new summer side-dishes: buckwheat crepes with corn, tomatoes and goat cheese from Food & Wine. We made them at J & T's a few weeks ago, and they were a total showstopper. Yum.
The work has piled up and I have some organizing to do, which is actually one of my favorite weekend activities.
Oh, Ben, you're not a baby anymore! Our playful little guy turns one year old in just a couple of weeks, so I've got to get my act together on planning his birthday celebration.
