Today's the day we take a moment to remember those who lost their lives in service to our country. This year, in our little corner of the Navy, that moment belongs to this family, among others. As a military spouse, it can be easy during hard times, times of separation and uncertainty, to complain or take each other for granted. But in moments like this I'm reminded how much some families have given, and I'm grateful for every homecoming and every safe landing. To the families spending today with someone missing, I'm taking a moment to wish you peace and comfort.
